Ned Batbasher is a world character in the Worlds and mobile versions of Rail Rush.

Appearance

Ned Batbasher wears a red short-sleeved shirt, a cap and a sleeveless jersey with a "no zombies" symbol. He wields an aluminum baseball bat.

How to Unlock This Character

As Ned Batbasher possesses an ability that is endemic to Zombie Caves, a premium world, he would have no special abilities outside of his world. Thus, he is not available for sale from the start in the mobile and Worlds version. He can be unlocked in the Worlds version if the player collects twenty trial passes from the rock eggs and uses them to unlock his world. In the mobile version, however, he can only be unlocked by purchasing permanent access to Zombie Caves for $2.10. Without this in-app purchase, Ned Batbasher is impossible to unlock or use.

Abilities

While confronting a zombie horde in the Zombie Caves, Ned can use his baseball bat to quickly knock out any zombies that try to get on the cart.

Strategy

With Ned Batbasher, zombies that get on to the cart become less of a threat, as Ned has the ability to instantly remove them with one or two thwacks of his baseball bat. However, he is quite slow to wielding the bat, so the player must carefully watch the cart and take immediate action to remove the zombies if Ned does not take them out himself. Time is still of the essence when zombies get onto the cart, as failure to remove any leeching zombies before the on-screen health bar depletes will lead to a painful death.

The player also needs to be on the alert for other zombies and take evasive action to avoid crashing into them.

Note

Ned Batbasher's last name is of the same format as that of Bob Molechaser (noun + verb + "er").
